Privacy Policy

Last updated October 11, 2026

Built By Dusty ("we"), based in Tyler, Texas, runs Kennel Press. This policy explains what we collect and why, for two groups of people:

  • Breeders who have a Kennel Press account, and
  • Visitors to kennelpress.com and to breeders' websites (on breedsites.com or a breeder's own domain), including buyers who contact a breeder.

What you send to an AI-assisted feature (for example a pedigree photo or your answers about your program)To draft text or read the pedigree for you to reviewOnly as long as it takes to produce the draft; we don't use it to train models

2. Visitors and buyers

  • Browsing a breeder's website. Breeders' websites use no advertising trackers and set no cookies. To count visits we derive an anonymous code from your browser and a secret that changes every day, so a visit can be counted once per day without identifying you or following you between days or sites. We don't count visits from browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. Page-view records are kept for 90 days and then only daily totals remain. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability.
  • Contacting a breeder. When you send an inquiry, we store your name, email, optional phone number, message and which animal or litter it's about, and email it to the breeder's account address. The breeder then has your details and is responsible for how they use them. We keep our copy for 90 days, then delete it. We use your details for nothing else.
  • Reporting a website. We store your report and, only if you give it, your email so we can follow up. We don't record your IP address with it.
  • Bot protection. Sign-up, contact and report forms on our own domains use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address and browser signals to tell people from bots, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising measurement

On kennelpress.com and app.kennelpress.com only, you can choose whether to let Meta measure visits and four product milestones: creating an account, adding a first animal, publishing a website and starting a subscription. If you allow it, Meta receives the page address, browser and device information, its advertising identifiers and the milestone name. We don't send Meta your name, email address, account or website ID, payment amount, animal details, website content, or activity on any breeder website.

Meta's script and its _fbp and _fbc cookies load only after you choose Allow measurement. Your choice is stored for one year in the kp_meta_consent cookie and works across kennelpress.com and app.kennelpress.com. No thanks leaves the script unloaded. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control keeps it off automatically. You can change your choice below at any time; turning it off tells Meta to revoke consent and removes those Meta cookies from our domain.

3. Who we share data with

We don't sell personal information. If you opt in to advertising measurement, we share the limited browser and milestone data described above with Meta. We use these service providers, each only for the purpose listed:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people from fraud or harm (for example in response to a credible scam report), or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, in which case this policy keeps applying.

4. Breeders' websites and buyers' data

When a buyer contacts a breeder through their website, the breeder is responsible for the buyer's details once they receive them. We process the inquiry on the breeder's behalf to deliver it. Each breeder's website has its own Privacy page that says this and links here.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Breeders can view and edit their content and account details in the editor at any time.
  • Tips and news from Kennel Press are opt-in. Turn them on or off in Account, or use the unsubscribe link in any of those emails.
  • Advertising measurement is opt-in. Use the controls below to allow it or turn it off in this browser.
  • Anyone can ask us to access, correct or delete their personal information at support@kennelpress.com. We'll verify your identity first and respond within 30 days.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. Write to us and we'll honour the ones that apply to you.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere) and at rest by our providers. Access to breeders' data is limited to their own account by database-level rules, and our own access is limited to what operating the Service requires. No system is perfectly secure; we'll notify affected people of a breach as the law requires.

7. Children

The Service isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Breeder accounts are for adults.

8. Where data is processed

We're based in the United States and our providers process data there and in other countries where they operate.

9. Changes

We'll post changes here and update the date above. For material changes we'll email account holders before they take effect.
